Just because you’re a vegan doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in a donut every now and then. These versions are healthier with delicious flavor and texture. Try them!
Banana Chocolate Donut Dots

Ingredients
- 3/4 cups and 3 tbsp almond milk
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cups vegan cake flour sifted
- 3/4 cup and 1/2 fair trade brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mashed banana
- 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2/3 cup of vegan chocolate chips melted
- 1/4 cup toasted coconut
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare donut pan with vegetable pan spray.

In small bowl, combine almond milk and lemon juice.

In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

Add almond milk mixture, banana and coconut oil.

Mix until just combined. Fill each doughnut cup approximately 2/3 full.

Bake 7-9 minutes or until the tops of the donuts spring back when touched. Let cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to cooling grid to cool completely.

In small bowl, stir together sugar, milk, cinnamon and melted chocolate until completely dissolved. Use immediately to glaze doughnuts.

Top with toasted coconut.
