Black Eyed Pea Hummus
For a different twist on hummus, try some black eyed peas instead. They’re delicious!
Black eyed pea hummus
Total Time 10 minutes
- 1 clove of garlic
- 5 tbsp olive oil divided
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 15- ounce can black-eyed peas rinsed
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley
Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until a coarse purée forms. With motor running, drizzle in remaining 4 Tbsp. oil.
