18 Aug Chocolate Chip Madeleines
These madeleines are so easy and chocolaty. You can’t just eat one!
Vegan Chocolate Chip Madeleines
- 10 tbsp vegan butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 3/4 cup apple sauce
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2/3 cups mini chocolate chips I used Enjoy Life
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Melt the butter and maple syrup in a small saucepan and simmer until syrupy.
Pour into a bowl and set aside to cool. Add apple sauce and sugar together for about 8 minutes.
Fold in the flour then the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate into the mixture.
Pour the batter into the madeleine molds and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve warm.
