I tend to work out early in the morning and usually need a quick pick me up. I have found that making these energy balls and popping a few before workout gives me the extra boost I need to make it through my workout sessions. Protein Energy Balls

Energy protein balls for a quick boost.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp flax seeds
  • 1 tsp peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into food processor until well blended. 

  2. Form into small balls with hands for bite sized eating. 

    Enjoy!
