I wasn’t a fan of okras too much growing up, but as I got older it became an acquired taste. Check out this okra salad, it’s quite delicious!
Okra and Chickpea Salad

sliced okras

cooked chickpeas

diced tomatoes

diced onion

paprika

1/4
tsp
salt

1/2
tsp
minced garlic

tsp
black pepper

1/4
cup
olive oil

tsp
shredded parsley

Heat a frying pan with olive oil and add orka and cook for about 5 minutes.

Add the onions, garlic and seasonings and cook until onions are translucent.

Add diced tomatoes and chickpeas.

Serve hot!
